All employees of a US company get nine days of paid time off to “rest and recharge”

We all often need a protracted vacation from work in order to unwind mentally and mentally reset before returning to work. But what if your employer requests that you take a vacation from work for nine whole days instead of just one? A US-based internet startup called HackerRank has followed suit.

The tech-hiring startup identified itself as the platform that enables tech recruiters and hiring managers to objectively assess talent at every level of the recruitment process, helping businesses to employ qualified engineers and innovate quicker.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-61107″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-all-employees-of-a-us-company-get-nine-days-of-paid-time-off-to-rest-and-recharge-financial-services3-770×433-11zon-750×420.png” alt=”” width=”1562″ height=”875″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-all-employees-of-a-us-company-get-nine-days-of-paid-time-off-to-rest-and-recharge-financial-services3-770×433-11zon-750×420.png 750w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-all-employees-of-a-us-company-get-nine-days-of-paid-time-off-to-rest-and-recharge-financial-services3-770×433-11zon-768×430.png 768w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-all-employees-of-a-us-company-get-nine-days-of-paid-time-off-to-rest-and-recharge-financial-services3-770×433-11zon-150×84.png 150w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-all-employees-of-a-us-company-get-nine-days-of-paid-time-off-to-rest-and-recharge-financial-services3-770×433-11zon.png 770w” sizes=”(max-width: 1562px) 100vw, 1562px” />

A LinkedIn user informed the company’s consumers of the same by sharing a screenshot of a correspondence they received from the business. The message begins, “We wanted to let you know that HackerRank will be taking the first week of July off for paid time off. Our crew and all of Hacker Rank will be taking a vacation to relax and rejuvenate from July 1 to July 9.

The business also let its customer know that delays would occur with email, interviews, and application updates during the nine-day vacation. It further said that consumers might contact them before June 30 if there was an emergency. Any other correspondence would thereafter get a response on July 10 following the lengthy holiday.

“We all have been seeing a lot about hectic work-life balance, employees making up reasons to get leave or go on vacation,” the LinkedIn user who posted the message wrote. This initiative by HackerRank is fantastic and deserves praise for taking into account the welfare of all workers and providing company-wide time off. Congratulations to the management for making such a daring choice.

Online retailer Meesho announced an 11-day “Reset and Recharge break” for the second straight year in September of last year, taking into consideration the mental health of its staff. The break began on October 22 and lasted until November 1.
