India will win the World Cup, according to Ravi Shastri, “because they don’t have to do anything different”

Former India coach and World Cup champion Ravi Shastri has predicted that India would defeat Australia in Sunday’s World Cup 2023 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

He said, “They (India) will start as favourites in the final,” in a statement to media agencies.

After advancing to the finals, the Men in Blue secured their place in the thrilling match by defeating New Zealand by a score of 70 runs.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-282702″ src=”” alt=” its an honor to see true teamwork under your direction afridi writes a touching po” width=”1222″ height=”813″ title=”India will win the World Cup, according to Ravi Shastri, "because they don't have to do anything different" 3″ srcset=” 275w,×100.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1222px) 100vw, 1222px” />

“I think just being composed and calm and handling and soaking the pressure because you don’t want to be overexcitable just because it’s a final,” Shastri said in answer to a question on what India needed to do to win the title.

Shastri also complimented the Indian Team’s efforts so far in the competition. “This team does not depend on one or two players,” he said. Eight or nine players have consistently performed in each game. That’s a really encouraging indicator.

Major contributions from a number of Indian players have helped their country reach the finals. Three of the tournament’s top ten run scorers are Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shreyas Iyer. Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja are three of the top ten wicket-takers in the competition when it comes to the ball.

India’s performance in the semi-finals seemed to be coming to an end, but they managed to secure the win to go to the finals with the help of hundreds from Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, as well as a record-breaking seven wicket haul from Mohammed Shami.

Their adversaries Despite having a strong start with the ball, Australia was defeated by David Miller’s century to advance to the finals. But Australia made it to a record-tying ninth World Cup finals because of Travis Head’s all-around effort, which included two significant wickets and a pivotal half-century in which he attacked the bowlers.
