Mandeep Mor (23rd, 27th), Raheel Mohammed (16th, 27th), and Manjeet (5th, 24th) each scored a brace, while the other scorers were Gurjot Singh (14th), Rajbhar Pawan (9th), and Uttam Singh (5th).

India kept up the constant assault on Jamaica’s defense with attacks even after taking a sizable lead. As India led 6-0 going into the interval, Pawan and Gurjot took advantage of their chances.

India continued their strong attacking approach and concentrated on ball possession in the second half, which was similar to the first. This strategy worked well as Raheel, Mandeep, Manjeet, and Maninder scored a combined total of multiple goals to lead India to a commanding 13-0 victory.

The Indian squad opened Pool B play on Sunday with a victory against Switzerland and a loss to Egypt.

Nonetheless, India’s quarterfinal participation has been assured with the win against Jamaica.
